Bear-Makers supply the emergency room of the local hospital with little bears to comfort children who come there for medical attention.
The Benevolence ministry provides assistance to our members and to those in community in need. We hold Community Outreach Events which include an annual Back-2-School Health Fair and BackPack Giveaway and an annual Holiday Dinner & Gift Giveaway. The Community Outreach page is HERE. Our Hope Closet food pantry and clothing supply are open each Thursday evening from 6:30-7:30pm.
The Building & Grounds ministry does maintenance on the Creekside property at 3949 Lithia Pinecrest road.
Counseling: Dwight Eppler conducts the Refuge Counseling Center located at the church offices, 3849 Lithia Pinecrest Road, a mile south of Bloomingdale Avenue.. The Refuge Counseling page is HERE
The Education Ministry promotes the spiritual growth of every member by providing Bible Classes staffed by our teachers. Classes are available for everyone from infants to adults—See details of our Bible Classes HERE.
The Evangelism Ministry focuses on making visitors feel welcome, handles the distribution of brochures and tracts and teaches classes for Prospective Members where they can become acquainted with what we believe.
The Fellowship Ministry conducts events to strengthen the fellowship of members and works with the Benevolence Ministry to run an annual FALL FEST which is a community outreach event.
J.O.Y: Jesus first, Yourself last, & Others in between is a group that seeks to make connections with ladies in the congregation.
The Annual Ladies' Retreat: This is held yearly, usually in September or October. More information is available HERE.
Lads to Leaders is the oldest and largest Church of Christ leadership training organization that offers courses and competitive and non-competitive event activities to grow Christians. Creekside Church of Christ children and youth attend the Regional Convention and participate in Art, Bible Bowl, Debate, Song Leading, Speech, the Junior Leader events and more! Men's Retreat: This has normally been held early in the year at Florida Bible Camp.
The Missions Ministry, part of the Evangelism Ministry, encourages communication with missionaries by members of the congregation. The Missions page, which lists the works which the congregation presently supports, is HERE
The Planning & Building Committee is in charge of the congregation's construction of new worship facilities on the Lithia Pinecrest property.
Quilters make quilts which they send to the Christian Home & Bible School at Mt Dora for distribution to orphans in their care, or to use in fund-raising.
TLC: Tender Loving Care is composed of a group of members who encourage others by sending cards to those who are grieving, sick, rejoicing, and so on. Hundreds of lives have been touched by this ministry.
