Bell Shoals Church of Christ Ministries

Each of the congregation's ministries is handled by one of the Deacons' Committees. You will find links to those committees which have a page of their own. For a list of the Committees and their personnel see the Deacons Page.

The Education Committee promotes the spiritual growth of every member by providing Bible Classes staffed by competent teachers—See details of our Bible Classes here

The Evangelism Ministry is focused on making visitors feel welcome and handles the distribution of brochures and tracts

The Missions Ministry, part of the Evangelism Ministry, encourages communication with missionaries by members of the congregation. The Mission page lists the works which the congregation presently supports

Bible Camp is held annually on Florida Bible Camp's site. Mark Forshaw is the Camp Director for Week One of 2015, Bell Shoals and South Trail congregations' week. Camp dates are June 7th to 13th, 2015. You can look at Florida Bible Camp's website here

The Library has a large collection of religious, reference, and general interest books and a few novels. You can find the library located in the southeast corner of the Fellowship Hall building

Ladies' Retreat in The Son: This is held yearly and will take place in early October 2015. Details of this year's event can be found here.

Men's Retreat: This is held yearly in February at Florida Bible Camp.

Women IN God's Service, affectionately known as WinGS is the Women's program which organizes an annual Ladies' Day and a Retreat In The Son

The Youth program holds a weekly dinner for its members, either at the church building or at a local Panera Bread restuarant. Tuesday Night Talks are held a couple of times a month at members' homes, and there are frequent external activities. Youth are also involved in monthly service projects. The Worship Committee prepares a monthly Work-Sheet with details of duties at each of the congregation's services. It also provides audio coverage of the Sunday sermons which you can find at the Sermons-On-Line page

The Member Care and Benevolence Committee provides material assistance to members and needy people in the community, running a Food Pantry and Clothing Distribution each Thursday from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.

Bear-Makers supply the emergency room of the local hospital with little bears to comfort children who come there for medical attention

Quilters make quilts which they send to Christian Home & Bible School at Mt Dora for distribution to orphans in their care, or to use in fund-raising

The Building & Grounds Committee sees to any repairs needed on the building, cares for the grounds, and does maintenance on a property which we own on Lithia Pinecrest road, Valrico

The Planning & Building Committee is in charge of the congregation's vision for construction and development of the Lithia Pinecrest property
